Is there a weight limit on how large my child could be?

The seat carries a maximum weight of 40 lb./18 kg and about 12 months old (must be able to hold their head up - see here ).

I am confused.
Do you mean minimum or maximum weight of 18kg?
Presumably 12 months is the minimum age limit?
